2022 Christmas Party

The colourful Christmas.

The College had her Christmas Party on the 15th of December, 2022.

The event began with the School closing Mass on Thursday 15th December, 2022 at 8:00am inside the St. Theresa Catholic Church, Ifako-Agege, Lagos.

Since the College is a missionary school, we operate by beginning with prayers and ending with prayers, just as our Lord Jesus taught us!

The Opening and Closing Mass marks the beginning and ending of each term activities of the College.

The 2022 Christmas party was a huge success, fun filled and very colorful. The event began at 10:00am with an opening prayer, while the Administrator, Rev. Sr. Mary-Jacinta Nwaigwe, EHJ, gave the welcome speech. She welcomed all the students and staff to the occasion and praised all that there were looking unique. She thanked God for the gift of life and His benevolence love that kept us from January till date. She appreciated the students and all teachers for the efforts put into rehearsals and trainings for a beautiful performance. She enjoined all to sit, relax and enjoy the peace and joyful atmosphere of Christmas and prayed for a wonderful Christmas holiday and a very prosperous New Year 2023.

The Principal, Mr Ernest Ochu', gave the Beautiful Christmas message from the Gospel of Luke 2:15-20, tittled "THE BIRTH OF THE LORD". In his speech, Christmas is a season of joy, merriment and giving. The Lord Jesus came in human form and was born among us His birth has brought so much joy to the whole world, that is why we see joy everywhere. Jesus is the reason for the season He reminded all that God dwells in clean hearts and enjoined all to embrace the season with clean hearts. He admonished all to eschew rancor and bitterness and turn a new leaf so that Jesus' coming into the world would be impactful. He cited that staying with Jesus means living a righteous life so that we can enjoy the peace and joy His birth brings at Christmas. He concluded with the following Passages in the Scripture: Psalms; 34:10, 91, 121: 7-8, 125:1-2. And wished all a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New year 2023.

The event was also marked with melodious Christmas Carols by the students from various classes. There was a colourful dance presentation of the song "IJELE and ON MY WAY TO HEAVEN" by the Dynamic Steppers.

Father Christmas made his grand entrance with gifts for the children. The menu menu was a sumptuous Christmas jollof rice with chicken and soft drinks. The occasion came to an end with the closing prayer said by the Administrator Rev.Sr. Mary Jacinta Nwaigwe, EHJ.
